New name for North Nowra cafe

Nourish Kitchen + Café opens.  The café has been renamed Nourish Kitchen + Café complete with a new look and a new logo. The café name was chosen because Nourish has the meaning of; to provide with food necessary for life and growth and to support or encourage. This is what the café is all about – great food and drinks and supporting people with disability through providing employment opportunities and skills development.

“The name Nourish describes perfectly what we are trying to create – a place to enjoy delicious food and great coffee whilst employing and supporting people with disability to gain confidence and grow their skills.” Annie Doyle, Civic Disability Services CEO.

“I loved SOLA café but I am really looking forward to visiting Nourish. I have been travelling past the café during the renovations and I love the new look. You have done such a great job.” Previous SOLA cafe clientele.

The café which will initially open from 8.00am until 4pm Monday to Friday also provides catering hence why the word Kitchen is included in the name Nourish Kitchen + Café.

The Café menu has been created to include delicious cakes and slices for morning and afternoon tea and a selection of delicious hot and cold lunch options. The catering menu includes healthy sandwiches and wraps, fruit and cheese platters, and hot food items such as Pumpkin, Chorizo & Fetta tarts – all of which our experienced and trained staff help to prepare. Catering can be ordered online or via phone.

The café will have a kerbside service where you can order your coffee ahead of time and pick it up in the special express parking area out the front of the café. You can pre-order your coffee using the Hey You app.

The coffee will be supplied by local roasters who have developed a blend of Sumatran, South American and African beans. The coffee blend is smooth and full bodied which will also be available to purchase at Nourish. You can also buy your very own Nourish environmentally friendly keep cup which will see you receive a discount when you use it to purchase your coffee.

From grabbing your early morning coffee on the go, to a catch up with friends for morning tea, to a scrumptious lunch, to stopping in on the way home after a school pick up – Nourish Kitchen + Café will provide great food and coffee.

We know the Café’s food and drinks will not only Nourish you but will also empower people with disability.
We look forward to seeing you all at the grand reopening which will be held in September. We’ll send you an invite soon.
