New life for Slice of Life

Civic Disability Services reopens General Store Civic Disability Services, a leading provider of disability services in New South Wales, today announced that they will be reopening a café in North Nowra after it closed its doors on 5th May this year.

Civic Disability Services wanted to ensure the continuation of employment opportunities for people with disability in the Shoalhaven community. Civic is looking to generate further opportunities in the area including offering accommodation to people with disability and collaborating with local community groups and local council to deliver supports to Shoalhaven residents.

The General Store, located at 82 Illaroo Road North Nowra, will be renovated before the official reopening in July. A special event will be held for the reopening of the store to thank supporters and welcome locals to experience the fantastic service and selection of delicious homemade cakes and slices, organic coffee, hot food, salads and general store items.
